This morning we had a new acolyte at church. It was heartwarming to see him take his job so seriously, yet we had to chuckle when he could barely reach the candles to get them lit. Reminded me of Nick when he first was an acolyte. He had to stand on tiptoe and stretch to reach. What a long time ago that was - Nick recently had his 22nd birthday. My how time does fly.
