Show and Tell

Show and Tell
It's been a really long time since I participated in Kelli's Friday Show and Tell! I have a little quiet time this morning, so I looked at some recent photos and found one to share. (Here you go, Rhonda!) :o)I have not planted a vegetable garden for several years, but have begun to dabble in it again now that I don't work full-time. This summer, in addition to tomatoes, zucchini, jalapenos, and lots of herbs, I put in 3 mini-pumpkin plants. They didn't require much care at all, and gave abundantly. This photo shows you 73 of the 76 little guys I harvested. Seventy-six!
They're piled in this huge enamel bowl, but I have been distributing them around the house as Autumn decor. (Photos of that will have to come later - the twins just got up, and we have to get Wyatt up for school. So the busy day begins...) Click on the Show and Tell button at the top of this post to see what everyone else is sharing today!

Your little pumpkins are awesome, and, to think, you grew them yourself. Be proud, be very proud. Take care.

Wow! I'm going to have to try mini pumpkins next year. I grew one pumpkin this year and it didn't last long for some reason. The little ones are so cute!

Doesn't take much from one little seed. LOL! We have the bigger pumpkins. 16 from 2 seeds.

I love your mini pumpkins and am so glad that you got a good yield. I have never tried growing them. They are going to look great as autumn decor.

Enjoy your weekend.

Love the small pumpkins, we planted large ones. My grandson is turning 5 this month, and we plan to let the little ones carve baby pumpkins. Next year we will have to plant the small one, like yours. Thanks for sharing.

What great little pumpkins. We had such a lousy summer that my plants started blooming about three weeks before the first snow flakes fell. Maybe next year...
